POSITION TITLE: Plumbing Sales & Estimating

REPORTS TO: Riverside Sales Manager

PAY STATUS: Exempt/Salary

SUPERVISES: Not Applicable

General Responsibility

The purpose of this position is to develop and lead all sales and marketing within division.

Significant Duties

Identify and analyze external opportunities and threats to the organization within a specific territory.

Provide timely feedback regarding progress, market conditions, and competitors to the Sales Manager and other members of the Sales Team.

Develop and initiate marketing techniques to strengthen and expand client base.

Effectively manage client relationships to ensure ongoing business opportunities.

Track sales performance to ensure established goals and quotas are met.

Analyzes specifications and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.

Submit proposals and successfully bid on jobs to assure sales goals are met within margin and resource requirements.

Processing contract extras in Excel and accounting software.

Price contract extras on demand for various items in scope of work.

Other duties or projects, as required or assigned.

General

Maintain organized files and documentation of all sales and job activity.

Requirements

Work Experience: Experience in new construction plumbing preferred.

Education: College level courses related to sales and/or marketing preferred but not required.

Skills and abilities: The ideal candidate will be a highly ethical, energetic and extroverted individual that posses the ability to work in a fast-paced, muti-tasking environment with shifting priorities; and the ability to prioritize according to established directives with little or no immediate supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Intermediate to advanced MS Excel, and intermediate general PC skills are required.

Salary

Compensates based on experience, plus benefits.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
