Job Description: Line Sanitizer

Summary

The Line sanitizer is responsible for ensuring all production line equipment, and all surrounding work areas are properly clean, sanitized.

Pay

$17.50-$20

Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production lines before, during, and after shifts as required.
• Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Follow established sanitation procedures, including proper chemical handling, dwell times, and rinse procedures.
• Verify cleanliness of equipment and work areas prior to production startup

· Coordinate with Mechanic supervisor to assure what equipment is priority to sanitize.

• Support line changeovers and assist with general cleaning throughout the facility.
• Follow all GMPs, food safety guidelines, SOPs, and safety rules.
• Work closely with production staff to ensure equipment is ready for operation.
• Lead the sanitation team
• Fill out logs, paperwork to document all equipment cleaned.

Qualifications

• Prior sanitation or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Knowledge on how to use tools.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures (training provided).
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Leadership skills.

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday 4/10s schedule
• Willing to work Overtime some Fridays included.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
