Assistant Plant Controller

We are currently seeking a Assistant Plant Controller for our client located in Riverside. Position will be fully onsite.

Pay $100,000 to $110,000 per year

This position will play a key role in plant-level finance and accounting and be responsible for the full month-close process and financial reporting. Must have a strong manufacturing and cost background.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full month-end close in NetSuite, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and board-level reporting
• Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variances, and overhead allocation
• Manage inventory accounting, reconciliations, cycle counts, and adjustments
• Provide financial and KPI analysis to support plant performance and cost savings
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation, and disposals
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and GAAP compliance
• Support special projects and ad hoc analysis for leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6+ years of accounting and finance experience
• Strong background in cost accounting and month-end close
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar environment preferred
• Advanced NetSuite or ERP experience
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and cross-functional skills
