Production Assembler

Job Title: AssemblerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will glue packages together and package carbon filters. You will be responsible for lifting between 25-40 pounds and alternating between sitting and standing positions consistently. Regular visual inspections and measurements of products will be required, as well as performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. You will also track production data, complete required reports, and communicate any issues to supervisors or team members.

Responsibilities

• Glue packages together and package carbon filters.
• Lift 25-40 pounds consistently.
• Alternate between sitting and standing positions.
• Perform regular visual inspections and measurements of the products.
• Conduct routine maintenance and clean equipment.
• Track production data and complete required reports.
• Communicate issues to supervisors or other team members.

Essential Skills

• Experience with extrusion, production, and machine operation.
• Familiarity with production lines and extrusion machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as an assembler, gluer, or packager.
• Entry-level position suitable for individuals looking to start their career in assembly and packaging.

Work Environment

The work environment is a machine shop where the product is made from coconut shells, ground into a fine black carbon powder. Although the machines are not loud, the environment can be very dirty, and the black charcoal can stain clothes. Employees should be prepared for such conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temecula, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
