Position Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Full-Time Paramedic, where you will deliver compassionate and high-quality emergency medical care in a professional and cost-effective manner. We are seeking passionate individuals who are ready to make a difference in the lives of patients.

Sign-On Bonus: Enjoy a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus upon joining our team! This bonus is applicable to Full-Time Paramedic hires only and does not apply to internal employees. For more bonus agreement details, please contact Human Resources.

Commitment: A two-year commitment agreement with the company may apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess each emergency situation to determine the best course of action and follow appropriate protocols.
  • Utilize essential medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced patient care.
  • Employ effective triage skills to enhance efficiency during calls.
  • Deliver patient care adhering to established clinical protocols and safety requirements.
  • Lift and transport patients as necessary to ensure optimal care.
  • Coordinate with receiving medical facilities to share critical information and receive guidance.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the formal job description.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Licensing/Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid California Drivers' License
  • Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
  • Medical Examiner's Card or DL51 (from DMV)
  • State of California Paramedic License
  • CPR Certification (American Heart Association ONLY - Health Care Provider; handwritten cards not accepted)
  • ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY; handwritten cards not accepted)
  • PALS (American Heart Association ONLY or PEPP for Riverside & Ventura applicants; handwritten cards not accepted)
  • Driving record compliant with AMR Safety and Driving policy (proof required if employment is conditional)
  • Completion of ICS courses: IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, IS-800B

Experience

  • Prior experience in healthcare is preferred.

Salary Range: Competitive rates between $28.40 and $39.71, based on experience, for average 12-hour shifts at approximately 42 hours per week.
