1st Shift - Mechanical Assembler

Position: Mechanical Assembler 1st Shift (9/80 Schedule) resume required

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.

Schedule: MondayFriday | 5:00 AM 2:30 PM | 9/80 Schedule (Every other Friday off)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This position is responsible for assembling respiratory systems and related sub-assemblies in accordance with drawings, schematics, and work instructions. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and package components based on drawings, schematics, or verbal instructions.
• Identify and correctly handle sub-assemblies throughout the build process.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other production equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper care of production equipment.
• Conduct inspections to ensure all products meet quality and appearance standards.
• Perform rework or repairs on defective parts as necessary.
• Rotate between workstations as production needs require.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic to intermediate mechanical assembly skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Prior experience in mechanical assembly or packaging processes is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
• Requires close, distance, and color vision with depth perception.
• Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
