Golf Shop Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Golf Shop Attendant to join our team at Canyon Crest Country Club. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall experience for our guests. This role involves engaging with customers, managing sales transactions, and maintaining the shop's appearance, all while promoting a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Customer service: Greet customers, check them in, and answer questions
• Knowledge of golf rules, regulations, and player responsibilities
• Cash handling skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor
• Familiarity with basic computer functions
• Flexible availability, particularly on weekends
• Sales: Sell merchandise, collect fees, and process payments
• Maintenance: Clean and stock the shop, maintain displays, and perform custodial tasks
• Reservations: Book tee times and lessons
• Operations: Assist with tournaments, open and close the shop, and perform other duties as assigned
• Cart fleet: Assist with maintaining the golf course's cart fleet, including cleaning, washing, refilling, and accounting for carts
• Driving range: Monitor the cleanliness of the driving range and availability of clean range balls

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in the Golf Industry
• Must posses strong computer skills
• Experienced in tournament operations
• Experienced in golf shop operations
• Ability to reach , bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs
