About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Clinical Business Operations and Strategy with a focus on global clinical vendor strategy and business operations, particularly within oncology clinical development programs. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to Clinical Development leadership, responsible for setting and leading the global clinical outsourcing strategy, overseeing all aspects of CRO and vendor management, and owning the financial aspects of clinical trials. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in clinical finance, budgeting, and forecasting for Phase 1-3 studies, as well as the ability to design and scale operating models to support a growing clinical portfolio.

Applicants must have a minimum of 20 years' experience in biotech or pharmaceutical development, with a specific emphasis on global oncology clinical trials. Senior leadership experience in clinical outsourcing, vendor management, and CRO governance is essential, as is a strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements. The role demands an individual with executive-level communication skills, the ability to influence across complex organizations, and a demonstrated history of driving change management and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader, adept at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution, and will be instrumental in partnering cross-functionally with various departments including Clinical Operations, Development, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and Finance.
