The Partner Account Development Specialist plays a vital role in nurturing and advancing our Certified Partners, enabling them to thrive using Genetec solutions. This position is centered around increasing SC SaaS adoption, fostering meaningful partner connections, and successfully transitioning partners to Unified and Unified Elite status.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for Certified Partners, equipping them with the essential tools and knowledge to excel with Genetec solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive business planning and performance evaluations to pinpoint growth opportunities and enhance partner collaboration.
- Facilitate the transition of Certified Partners to Unified and Unified Elite by showcasing the advantages of a more profound partnership with Genetec.
- Instruct partners on our SC SaaS product offerings, clarifying value propositions and ideal use cases.
- Guide partners on the optimal timing and approach to present SC SaaS to end users for maximum impact.
- Assist partners in overcoming challenges and building confidence while selling SC SaaS.
- Monitor and report on SC SaaS engagement, pipeline expansion, and successful deal closures.
- Coordinate partner learning paths and training initiatives, ensuring Certified Partners remain knowledgeable about the full Genetec portfolio.
- Reinforce training through product demonstrations, sales insights, and real-world applications.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, helping partners utilize Genetec's ecosystem to achieve success.
- Track partner sales pipelines within the CRM to ensure ongoing engagement and deal progression across all Genetec product lines.
- Collaborate with partners to enhance pipeline activity and improve close rates for SC SaaS.
- Follow up on assigned leads to ensure prompt engagement and conversion.
- Support transaction-based business, including small to medium-sized system designs and associated BOMs.
- Assist partners during end-user meetings and product demonstrations, ensuring their confidence in presenting Genetec solutions.
- Provide technical support by coordinating with technology partners to resolve product integration queries.
- Collaborate closely with other CDSs and Partner Account Executives to ensure smooth territory cooperation and alignment of partner engagement strategies.
What Makes You an Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales, partner development, or technology sales.
- Proven track record of driving product adoption and enablement in a remote sales environment.
- Thorough understanding of channel sales and SaaS sales models.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence partners remotely.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and tracking adoption metrics using CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel to partner locations; preference for candidates residing within the territory.

- Facilitation of growth and revenue generation from Certified Partners.
- SC SaaS adoption metrics and the number of Certified Partners actively engaged in selling it.
- Conversion rate of Certified Partners to Unified and Unified Elite statuses.
- Participation of partners in training and enablement initiatives.
- Growth in the sales pipeline and closed deals across all Genetec solutions.
