Manufaturing Worker/Assembly Operator

Position: Assembly Operator

Shift

Start Time: 5:00 AM

End Time: 1:30 PM

(Must be flexible to work 8–9 hour shifts; end times may vary between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $19.95/hr

Job Description

We are seeking candidates with at least 6 months of manufacturing experience. Medical device manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. This role is not suitable for candidates with only warehouse, forklift, material handling, or Amazon-type experience.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of hands-on manufacturing experience
• Flexibility to work 8–9 hour shifts with variable end times
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and participating in instructor-led training)
• Comfortable working with microscopes
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret written and visual information
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to use hand tools for handling and manipulating small components
• Must successfully pass an eye exam and color vision test
• Availability to disclose any planned vacations or time off during the intake process

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, or pull
• Must possess strong visual acuity, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $19.95 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
