$26-$32 per hour

Holliday Rock is seeking Ready-Mix Drivers to join our concrete team. The Ready-Mix Driver safely delivers ready mix concrete to various local locations. Drivers are responsible for the safety of themselves and the safety of others as well as the quality, quantity and desired slump of each load of concrete. Drivers must have a good working relationship with our customers and provide excellent customer service.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Ability to perform vehicle safety inspections daily to ensure that equipment is safe to operate
• Maintain driver logs and time-cards within DOT guidelines
• Drivers are responsible for keeping trucks clean and safe
• Responsible for maintaining proper speed, following distance, and must be aware hazards (defensive driving)

• $1,300 - $3,000 total weekly avg. pay
• 500 - 1,000 avg. miles per week
• Day shift
• 100% Driver Load/Unload

Home Time

• 5 days on, 2 days off
• Home every weekend

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.

Hiring Requirements

• Class B license without any of the following restrictions: (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving or (O) No Semi Trailer
• Must have (N) Tank Vehicles endorsement at time of hire
• 1 month Commercial Driving experience
