Fragrance Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Fragrance Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and cosmetics, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create an inviting shopping experience. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and driving sales in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual abilities and familiarity with retail software are a plus, enabling us to better serve our diverse clientele.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized fragrance consultations
• Conduct product demonstrations and makeup applications to enhance customer engagement
• Assist customers with selecting fragrances and related beauty products based on their preferences
• Manage POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing using Millennium or similar systems
• Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales opportunities
• Maintain stock levels through merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays
• Handle front desk responsibilities such as phone etiquette, appointment scheduling, and customer inquiries
• Utilize social media management skills to promote products and store events
• Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and inviting at all times
• Support inventory management through stock checks and product replenishment

Skills

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Experience with retail sales, cosmetology, or beauty & cosmetics sales preferred
• Familiarity with Millennium POS system, salon software, or similar retail management tools
• Proficiency in social media management for marketing purposes
• Ability to perform product demos and makeup applications confidently
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock organization
• Strong sales skills with an emphasis on upselling techniques
• Customer service-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash handling accuracy
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
