We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Insurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance on insurance products, assisting clients with their insurance needs, and supporting sales initiatives. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong analysis abilities, and a proactive approach to customer service. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse client base effectively. The Insurance Specialist will play a key role in expanding our client relationships through outside sales, negotiation, and marketing efforts while ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA.
Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify and develop new insurance clients
- Conduct thorough analysis of client needs to recommend suitable insurance products
- Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients to secure optimal agreements
- Manage sales administration tasks, including documentation, follow-up, and record keeping
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assist with benefits administration and explain coverage options clearly to clients
- Support marketing initiatives to promote insurance products and services
- Comply with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and data security during client interactions
- Conduct telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and expand the customer base
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall sales strategies and achieve targets
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related industries
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with sales administration tools and analysis skills for evaluating client data
- Knowledge of insurance sales processes, benefits administration, and marketing strategies
- Prior experience working with HIPAA regulations or in healthcare-related environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in fast-paced settings
