We’re a locally owned pet service company that helps homeowners keep their yards clean, safe, and stress-free. Your job is simple and straightforward: visit assigned homes, clean up dog waste, leave the yard looking great, and move on to the next stop. No micromanaging, no office drama — just fresh air, a set route, and honest work you can feel good about.
This is a great role if you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, listening to music or podcasts while you work, and being part of a laid-back but hardworking team. If you show up on time, do quality work, and take pride in what you do, you’ll fit right in.
Responsibilities
Visit assigned residential homes on a scheduled route to remove dog waste from yards
Thoroughly scoop, bag, and properly dispose of pet waste
Apply yard deodorizer and sanitizing treatments when included in the service
Leave each yard clean, fresh, and odor-free after every visit
Use provided tools and supplies (scoopers, bags, sprayers, and sanitizer/deodorizer products)
Lock gates, respect client property, and follow service instructions for each home
Take quick before/after photos when required
Communicate any issues such as aggressive dogs, locked gates, or safety hazards
Represent Poop Scoop Rescue professionally while on route
Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable working outdoors and around dogs (no direct handling required)
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good time management and attention to detail
Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift light equipment and bags
Comfortable using a smartphone for routing, photos, and communication
Dependable, punctual, and takes pride in quality work
Willing to learn proper application of sanitizing and deodorizing products (training provided)
