ICU RN - Riverside, California

An opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with critical care experience is available in Riverside, CA, to provide expert care in an intensive care unit setting. This contract position requires dedication to patient safety and the ability to manage complex clinical situations with professionalism and confidence.

Key Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, preferably in critical care
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification is preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system is an advantage
• Must be available to work weekends

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice in the ICU
• Guide and support patient/family education and activities of other nursing personnel
• Maintain standards of care and compliance with patient privacy and confidentiality laws
• Monitor patient conditions closely, communicate significant changes and diagnostic results to physicians promptly
• Respond adeptly to patient condition changes and treatment responses
